Makhana & Chickpeas can be a good alternative for healthy carbohydrates and fats for a boost in your energy for your pre-workouts.

Time Required: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Makhana: 100 gms

Boiled chickpeas: 100 gms

Onion: 50 gms

Tomatoes: 50 gms

Bell Peppers: 50 gms

Carrot: 50 gms

Salt: to taste

Pepper: to taste

Olive Oil: 20 ml

Lemon Juice: 20 ml

Procedure:

  1. Dry Roast Makhana for  5-7 minutes or until crispy/golden brown, Keep aside.
  2. Cut all the vegetables into 1 cm cubes.
  3. In a Big bowl add Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper. Mix vigorously until it emulsifies.
  4. Add your boiled Chickpeas, Makhana, and cubed vegetables into the salad dressing. mix well.
  5. Serve fresh for optimum taste.
