Makhana Basundi

Time required: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
Makhana: 60 gms
Ghee: 1 tbsp
Elaichi/Cardamom: 1-2 pieces
Pistachio: 10 gms
Almond: 10 gms
Sugar: 50 gms
Milk: 800 ml
Procedure:
- In a non stick pot, add the milk and boil it on medium flame and reduce to half.
- Dry Roast the Makhanas for 3-4 minutes.
- Crush the Makhanas into a smooth powder, or of desired consistency.
- In a pot, heat the Ghee and add the Makhanas, Cardamom, chopped pista & almond, stir for 2-3 minutes then add the reduced milk and sugar to it.
- Boil for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve fresh and warm or cold as desired.
