Waldorf is a salad made generally out of fruits and Walnuts adding a nutritious Makhana into it gives it a crunchy twist with increased nutritious elements with a great enhancement in taste.

Waldorf is a salad made generally out of fruits and Walnuts adding a nutritious Makhana into it gives it a crunchy twist with increased nutritious elements with a great enhancement in taste.

Time Required: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
Makhana: 80 gms
Apple: 1 piece
Walnuts: 50 gms
Iceberg lettuce: 100 gms
Salt: to taste
Pepper: to taste
Mayonnaise: 20 gms
Procedure:
- Dry roast Makhana for 5-7 minutes or until crispy/golden brown.
- Dry roast walnuts and break them into smaller pieces.
- Cut apples into small cubes.
- Tear iceberg lettuce into smaller pieces.
- In a big bowl add Mayonnaise, salt, pepper and mix well.
- While serving toss all the ingredients together in the dressing and eat fresh.
- Serve fresh for optimum taste.
