Preparation time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
Makhana: 200 gms
Oil: 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric/Haldi: ¼ tsp
Coriander/Dhaniya Powder: ¼ tsp
Cumin/ Jeera Powder: ½ tsp
Cinnamon/ Dal Chini Powder: ¼ tsp
Clove/long Powder: a Pinch
Juice of half lemon
Procedure:
- Heat an Aluminium Pan/Kadai on a medium flame.
- Add 1 of oil, and heat it up.
- Add your Makhanas and roast them on a medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until they are crispy on the outside.
- Mix all the spices together in a small bowl.
- Remove the Makhana from the Aluminium Pan/Kadai and keep it aside.
- In the same Kadai add 1 tablespoon oil and all the spices and juice of the half lemon.
- Turn on the heat on medium-low.
- When it starts to sizzle add the roasted Makhanas and roast it for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve fresh and crisp for a better experience.
- You can also store it in an air-tight container for future use.
